Refund & Cancellation Policy

Welcome to Explore with India.
We always try to give you a smooth and comfortable travel experience.
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, changes and refunds work for our cab bookings and tour packages.

1. General Terms

  • This policy applies to all bookings made through Explore with India (website, WhatsApp, phone, or any partner platform).

  • By confirming a booking, you agree to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.

  • Any special offer/promo / seasonal package may have its own policy, which will override this general policy.

2. Cancellation by Customer – Cab Booking

2.1 Local / One-way / Round-trip Cabs

  • Free Cancellation:

    • If you cancel 12 hours or more before the scheduled pickup time –
      👉 No cancellation charges. Full amount (after any payment gateway charges) will be refunded.

  • Late Cancellation:

    • If you cancel within 12 hours of the pickup time –
      👉 Up to 50% of the booking amount may be charged as a cancellation fee.

  • Driver Reached Pickup Location:

    • If the driver has already reached the pickup location and you cancel/are unavailable –
      👉 Up to 100% of the first day / minimum charge may be applied.

  • No-Show (Customer not reachable / not available):

    • If the customer is not available at the pickup location and not reachable on the phone –
      👉 Booking will be treated as a No-Show, and no refund will be provided.

3. Cancellation by Customer – Tour Packages

(Tours, multi-day trips, holiday packages, etc.)

  • 30 days or more before tour start date:
    👉 Full refund after deducting any non-refundable charges (like train/flight/hotel already paid).

  • 15–29 days before tour start date:
    👉 50% of the package cost is refundable.

  • 7–14 days before tour start date:
    👉 25% of the package cost is refundable.

  • Less than 7 days before the tour start date or after the tour start:
    👉 No refund.

Note: Any flight/train/bus tickets, hotel bookings or activity tickets booked on your behalf are subject to the respective service provider’s policies. Their cancellation charges will be deducted from your refund.

4. Modification / Rescheduling of Booking

  • Date / Time Change – Cabs

    • Changes requested more than 12 hours before pickup:
      👉 We will try our best to reschedule without extra cost, subject to vehicle availability and new fare difference.

    • Changes requested within 12 hours:
      👉 Treated as last-minute change. Charges may apply or booking may be treated as cancelled.

  • Date Change – Tours

    • Rescheduling is subject to availability and supplier terms (hotel, transport, etc.).

    • Any additional charges due to date change must be borne by the customer.

5. Cancellation / Changes by Explore with India

  • In rare cases, due to reasons like natural calamities, strikes, political unrest, vehicle breakdown, overbooking, or operational issues, Explore with India may need to cancel or reschedule your booking.

  • In such cases, we will:

    • Offer an alternative vehicle / date / similar package, or

    • Provide a full or partial refund, depending on the situation and actual costs already incurred.

Our liability is limited to the amount you paid to Explore with India for that particular booking.

6. Refund Process

  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original mode of payment used during booking (UPI, card, net banking, wallet, etc.).

  • Refunds are usually initiated within 7–10 working days after approval.

  • Bank/payment gateway processing time may vary, and Explore with India is not responsible for any delays from their side.

7. Non-Refundable Situations

No refund will be provided in the following cases:

  • Customer No-Show at the pickup point or reporting place.

  • The customer provides the wrong contact number/address and cannot be contacted.

  • Delay from the customer side causes the trip to be shortened or cancelled.

  • Breach of terms by the customer (indiscipline, damage to vehicle/property, illegal activities).

  • Bookings clearly marked as “Non-Refundable” at the time of booking.

Please share your Booking ID / Trip ID, passenger name, travel date and reason for cancellation while contacting us.

9. Policy Updates

Explore with India reserves the right to modify or update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time.
Updated policies will be posted on our website, and the version active at the time of your booking will apply to that booking.
